What's the difference?

What is the difference between ADDVANTAGE CREDIT UNION STAFFING and any other staffing agency?

  • We are the only staffing company in the country that exclusively staffs credit unions on both a temporary and a direct-hire basis.

In one particular situation, a credit union depended on us to find them a part-time teller with flawless credit in a rather small job market (an almost impossible task). The previous teller did not fit into the culture of this credit union, and the front line teller is one of the most important positions in the credit union. It was extremely important that we do an excellent job! Human Resources told us the branch manager wanted to interview more candidates than usual and even conduct a second interview for the final candidate to insure they chose the right person.

Our process included:

  • Reviewing well over 2000 resumes.
  • Screening over 50 candidates.
  • Taking in 13 applications with authorizations to check credit.
  • Running credit on 13 candidates.
  • Qualifying and submitting 6 candidates with good credit to Human Resources.
  • Setting up 5 interviews for the candidates chosen by the credit union.
  • Testing the 5 candidates prior to their interviews.
  • Running background checks which included not only credit, but a criminal history for 5 counties for the final candidate.

After scouring 3 of the top databases and running 3 job postings on 3 major job boards, we did it! 30 calendar days later (and with a lot of tenacity), we employed a part-time teller with flawless credit on a temp-to-hire basis. This credit union thinks there is a difference! When credit unions are successful, we are successful! We like to call it "job security."
